mySAP.com Workflow Inbox Logon Request?

Hi Alex, This could be an ITS issue rather than a miniapp or workplace
issue.
I've had this sort of problem before with other sorts of IACs of various
kinds.
Basically the ITS thinks it's missing some login information. Check to see
if either client or language are being asked for even though userid and
password
aren't. Make sure ~client and ~language are set up correctly in the
specific service
(or global service if you haven't set them up in the specific service).
It can be difficult to pin down exactly why this occurs, but a couple of
things you can try
include:
- hardcoding ~language and ~client to the correct values in the specific
service
- adding ~okcode=/0 (i.e. <ENTER> or in this case LOGIN to trigger pressing
of the login
button) to the end of the URL, e.g. http://..../bcbmtwfm0001/!?~okcode=/0
(yes that's a zero not the letter "o")

It usually comes down to some sort of confusion about the login details at
the ITS
possibly between the services and cookie so double check your global and
specific
service settings first.

Subject: mySAP.com Workflow Inbox Logon Request?

Memo from Alex J. Pattison of Price Waterhouse

-------------------- Start of message text --------------------

Has anyone got any experience of setting up the mySAP.com Workflow inbox? We
have a mySAP.com system and we have assigned the workflow inbox as a
mini-app in
the user's composite role, the form we have used for it is as specified in
the
SAP Help documentation (The Workflow Logical systems and links to roles have
also been setup in tables SWLIAG & SWLIGL). The mini-app web addess for the
Workflow inbox is:
     http://10.44.178.235:82/scripts/wgate/bcbmtwfm0001/!?

We have single sign-on fucntionality between the Workplace and Core R/3
system
based on the cookies form of single sign-on (and the role transactions work
using this single sign on setup). When the user with the role logs on the
role
loads the Workflow Inbox mini-app, but rather than going straight to the
inbox
it display a logon screen for the inbox first, there is no user ID field, no
password field, just Logon and Logoff buttons. When the Logon button is
pressed
the Inbox is fully loaded and functions as it should.

Does anyone know how to avoid the "Logon" screen for the Workflow Inbox
Mini-App
appearing?

Regards,

Alex
