Though not quite in the guru category I will offer an answer (but probably also
a request).
This should not be a problem, provided you use SAP for e-mails. Most likely you
don't.
In that case you must tell us some more, such as whether you are using Lotus
Notes, Microsoft Outlook, Netscape, Mozilla, Lotus CC:Mail, PMMail, Eudora,
BeMail, Adora, Althea, Balsa, Eucalyptus, or whatever to handle e-mail messages.
Anything is doable, what seems like magic just takes a little longer. If the
e-mail client is scriptable (Notes, Outlook, PMMail for instance) you have more
opportunities available, if not you're stuck with attachments MIME- or
UUencoded.

Subject: Email with Embedded Objects/Attachments
Workflow Gurus,
I find the ability to display workflow

=F6 from a mere
mouse click in the Preview area of the Business Workplace a very valuab=
le
feature of R/3 (46B). I expect that my user community will make use of =
this
feature quite frequently especially when a work item has attachments.
My question: Is there a way to make the =

=F6 appear in
the Preview area of an email document as they do for work items? When a=
n
approval work item is going to be rejected, I would like the agent to b=
e able
to attach a document describing his/her reason for rejecting the transa=
ction.
Then, when the Reject event occurs, I want to send the originating agen=
t an
email that contains all attachments along with a link to the object its=
elf so
the originator can review the object and the reason for rejection [with=
two
mouse clicks].
On a similar note, is there a way to send an email about a work item th=
at
contains a reference (link) to the object of the work item? I can send =
the
email, and its subject is constructed as =

=F6, but there is no
object reference in the email document on which the receiver can easily=
click.
Am I just doing it wrong?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
