1. Lessons are Finished? Now what do we do???
Lessons will begin again in two weeks, beginning June 9 (THE SCHEDULE IS NOW UP). Until then, you've got some options:
a.) Take a private lesson. They're cheap, and you'll learn more in one hour than you will in 3-4 group lessons. (See details below)
b.) Join us at Mambos. Go social dancing at Mambos, AND take the lessons offered at Mambos. Cool lessons offered every week. (See details below)
c.) Take some lessons with one of Boston's other great dance companies. Try a different style. For more info about other instructors in the area, visit the links on our website.

Mambos is doing it big again this weekend! We're helping AIDS Walk Boston generate funds for their 2009 campaign. We expect a big crowd for a great cause! All you've got to do is show up and dance. If you are Mambos Card holder and you get into the club for $10 every week, tell the doorman that you would like to contribute to AIDS Walk when you enter. You'll pay $15 total to get in the door and $5 from your donation will go directly to AIDS Walk. (If you prefer not to donate, you can still enter for $10).
If this Saturday is your first visit to Mambos, then tell the doorman you're there to dance for AIDS Walk. $5 from your admission will do towards the benefit.
Rumba y Timbal Dance Company and MIT Salsa Club will be starting the night off with fun lessons on both floors.
Lessons this SATURDAY:
FIRST FLOOR:
On the first floor, MIT Salsa will be teaching an intro to salsa AND club-style cha cha dancing on the first floor. These lessons are always fun for beginners and you'll learn enough in one hour to keep you dancing all night long! No partner or experience necessary.
SECOND FLOOR:
Mambos is pleased to have Rumba y Timbal in the house this Friday night! Director Roberto Figueroa and partner will be leading this week's lesson on Mambos' 2nd floor. The lesson will be divided between footwork, styling and partner work. Roberto's lessons are always fun and professional, and he's always keeping abreast of all the new trends hitting the dance floor.
All lessons begin at 9:30pm. Free with admission, no partner necessary.
* All Ages!
* DJ Ricardo
* $10 for members, $15 for guests
* Only 2 blocks from the Arlington T station.
