Lessons for next week:

Monday's Beginner Lesson Information: 
Beginners are welcome; no experience or partner necessary.
The first half hour of the lesson (7-7:30) introduces new dancers to
salsa. In this half hour, you will learn the basic steps, the basic right
turn and the cross-body lead. From 7:30-8:30 we will be teaching new
material. All students already familiar with the basics should arrive to
class at 7:30 to learn new material.

Tuesday's Advanced Beginner Lesson Information: 
7:00PM - 8:30PM (followed by social dancing).  Advanced beginner 
dancers should feel very comfortable with the basics of salsa 
dancing, such as timing, the cross-body lead and inside/outside 
turns.

MIT Salsa will be (re)creating the beach...on MIT's campus.  If you've been longing for warm weather and springtime, this event will "virtually" take you to the carribean, with creative decor and a hot night of dancing! 
Come early for salsa lessons with Boston Rueda and MIT Salsa, 8:30pm-
9:30pm.  Dance and bask in the (artificial) sun from 9:30pm - 1:00am!

Mambos is getting hotter, hotter and hotter!  We've got a ton of upcoming events and special lessons we're introducing over the next month.  Read below for more information....

This week, Mambos has one of its best intructors back in the house!  Hedwige of Noche Latina Dance Co. will be at Mambos this Friday teaching on the second floor.  Hedwige will also be teaching a free 4-week salsa workshop series at Boston College in April.  Come check him out this Friday at Mambos and see what all the talk is about!

Mambos First-Ever Reggaeton Lessons: 
Yes.  It's coming to Mambos Friday, April 10!  Two reggaeton instructors will be introducing students to reggaeton.  If you don't know how to dance to it, you will after this lesson. Instructors Tamara and Stewart are gonna make you move the ways you've always wanted to but didn't know how!

BU Salsa Club Salsa Social @ Mambos:
They're back!  Hundreds of salsa students from BU's salsa club will be returning for their second big party at Mambos, Friday April 24!  If you missed the first one, don't miss this one.  A huge night of dancing and tons of new people to meet. 

Lessons this FRIDAY: 

FIRST FLOOR:
On the first floor, MIT Salsa will be teaching an intro to salsa AND merengue dancing on the first floor.  These lessons are always fun for beginners and you'll learn enough in one hour to keep you dancing all night long!  No partner or experience necessary.  **Please try to arrive early for the beginners lessons to guarantee yourself a good spot in the circle.  The lessons are filling up in the first half hour.     

SECOND FLOOR:
One of the best is back!  Mambos is pleased to have Noche Latina Dance Co. in the house this Friday night.  A very fun and informative lesson led by NLDC director Hedwige Louis.  He's one of the best in the area, and taking lessons with him is like learning from a buddy in your living room.  Down-to-earth and friendly, Hedwige and NLDC will be at Mambos this Friday to share some of his cool moves and styling!

All lessons begin at 9:30pm.  Free with admission, no partner necessary.

5.)  MIT Salsa is Looking for 5 GIRLS for Free Weekly Private Lessons!

As you know, Chris teaches private lessons on and off campus throughout the week.  However, when he teaches men to dance, he needs girl partners to follow during the lesson.

Chris is currently looking for 5 girls that would like to take private lessons for free, as followers for other male students taking lessons.  You will not pay a penny.  You will be taught by Chris for one hour each lesson as you follow a male student.

6.) Private Lesson Information.

Private lessons are a fun and affordable way to learn salsa dancing  quickly. The private lesson setting allows each dancer the opportunity to address his or her own needs directly to a teacher. 

Private lessons are available for solo dancers, for couples and for groups up to 5--all for the same price. 

Currently taught at MIT!
Lessons are currently available Mondays thru Thursdays.  No Fridays.  Lessons are available on Saturdays and Sundays for higher rates.  
New Rates:
Weekdays: $40 per hour
Weekends: $60 per hour

Doors open at 9:00 PM
Tickets are $5 per person and $8 per couple.
