Monday's Beginner Lesson Information: 
Beginners are welcome; no experience or partner necessary.
The first half hour of the lesson (7-7:30) introduces new dancers to
salsa. In this half hour, you will learn the basic steps, the basic right
turn and the cross-body lead. From 7:30-8:30 we will be teaching new
material. All students already familiar with the basics should arrive to
class at 7:30 to learn new material.

THURSDAY'S Advanced Beginner Lesson Information: 
7:00PM - 8:30PM (followed by social dancing).  Advanced beginner 
dancers should feel very comfortable with the basics of salsa 
dancing, such as timing, the cross-body lead and inside/outside 
turns.

2.) Mambos Salsa Club this Friday! Lessons with Rumba y Timbal and Guest List Trivia!

Another full house of hot salsa dancing last Friday!  We want to give a shout out to Virgil and Christina for donating new timbales to Mambos !  You can expect to hear even more ear-piercing percussion from the Mambos' players every Friday night thanks to them...  

We'd also like to give a shout out Kirigin and the Tufts Med School crew!  You guys were a lot of fun and brought great vibes!  Also, a shout out to Venu for his excellent Bollywood Salsa Lessons!  He will be back with another fusion lesson next month.  And, last but not least, a shout out to Alicia Zhou (last week's trivia winner!) for taking great photos and videos from last Friday.  Check out the photos and videos from last week to see if you made the album!

Lessons this FRIDAY: 

FIRST FLOOR:
On the first floor, MIT Salsa will be teaching an intro to salsa AND club-style cha cha dancing on the first floor.  These lessons are always fun for beginners and you'll learn enough in one hour to keep you dancing all night long!  No partner or experience necessary.  **Please try to arrive early for the beginners lessons to guarantee yourself a good spot in the circle.  The lessons are filling up in the first half hour.     

SECOND FLOOR:
Mambos is pleased to have Rumba y Timbal in the house this Friday night!  Director Roberto Figueroa and partner will be leading this week's lesson on Mambos' 2nd floor.  The lesson will be divided between footwork, styling and partner work.  Roberto's lessons are always fun and professional, and he's always keeping abreast of all the new trends hitting the dance floor.  

All lessons begin at 9:30pm.  Free with admission, no partner necessary.

3.) MIT Salsa Club's Spring Break Salsa Social!  (Saturday, March 28)

Join MIT Salsa Club for a (virtual) Spring Break!  
MIT Salsa will be (re)creating the beach...on MIT's campus.  If you've been longing for warm weather and springtime, this event will "virtually" take you to the carribean, with creative decor and a hot night of dancing! 
Come early for salsa lessons with Boston Rueda and MIT Salsa, 8:30pm-
9:30pm.  Dance and bask in the (artificial) sun from 9:30pm - 1:00am!  

THERE ARE NO LIMITS ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE THAT CAN ATTEND.  INVITE EVERYONE!

5.) Private Lesson Information.

Private lessons are a fun and affordable way to learn salsa dancing  quickly. The private lesson setting allows each dancer the opportunity to address his or her own needs directly to a teacher. 

Private lessons are available for solo dancers, for couples and for groups up to 5--all for the same price. 

Currently taught at MIT!
Lessons are currently available Mondays thru Thursdays.  No Fridays.  Lessons are available on Saturdays and Sundays for higher rates.  
New Rates:
Weekdays: $40 per hour
Weekends: $60 per hour
