This week, Mambos is all about fusion. Not only are we focused on bringing different cultures together every week, but we're also fans of taking the music and dance and tossing it around in new ways. This Friday, for example, we welcome our first-ever Bollywood Salsa Lesson to Mambos! You can use your imagination or you can come and experience it for yourself. This Friday, one of our favorite instructors, Venu (Providence, RI), will be in the house to share some of his salsa fusion ideas with Mambos lesson-takers. Read below for more info!
ALSO...Boston Rueda will be teaching an intro to rueda dancing AND rueda de bachata dancing on the first floor!
Lessons this FRIDAY:

No partner or experience necessary. **Please try to arrive early for the beginners lessons to guarantee yourself a good spot in the circle. The lessons are filling up in the first half hour.
SECOND FLOOR:
This Friday, Mambos is pleased to offer its first Bollywood Salsa Lesson! What is a Bollywood salsa lesson? Just imagine those energetic, theatrical dance sequences you've seen in a Bollywood movie and add salsa. Salsa dancing is extremly popular all over the world, and India's salsa scene has been growing steadily for almost a decade now.
If you've ever seen a Bollywood movie, you might have noticed that the dancing in them is a hybrid of traditional Indian dances, such as bhangra, and other dances from around the world, including hip hop, salsa and swing.
All lessons begin at 9:30pm. Free with admission, no partner necessary.
* All Ages!
* DJ Ricardo
* $10 for members, $15 for guests
