1. NO Lessons Next Week.

Due to no room availability, MIT Salsa will NOT be having lessons next week.  Lessons will resume after MIT Salsa Club's Summer Salsa Social, Saturday, July 18.  (Read below for more info about this summer's party.)

Chris will be teaching private lessons on campus next Monday and Tuesday.  To schedule a lesson with him, email him at cgzebo at gmail.com.  (More information about private lessons below.)

Thanks to all that offered to volunteer for the summer salsa social.  We are all ready to party, with volunteers confirmed, guest salsa instructors and guest PERFORMANCES!  READ BELOW:

It's that time again! MIT Salsa Club is throwing another huge salsa party this summer, with dance lessons, performances and social dancing! 

The night begins with 3 different dance lessons all beginning at 8:30:

"Beginner Salsa Lesson": Fun for beginners! Learn the basics of salsa dancing with Matei Livianu!  He'll be showing you the basics and prepping you for the night of dancing! Click here to read more about Matei:www.salsamatei.com

"Advanced Beginner Salsa Lesson": Learn one of MIT Salsa Club's cool moves. For dancers with some salsa dancing experience, prepare to stretch you minds and your bodies!!

"Beginner Rueda Dancing with Boston Rueda": Learn Cuba's most famous circle dance with Boston Rueda. A great lesson for beginners new to salsa and for experienced dancers that would like an introduction to Rueda.

3.) Private Lessons: Time is Running Out!!!  Hurry Up and Schedule...

Private lessons are a fun and affordable way to learn salsa dancing quickly. If you've been meaning to learn, or you aready have experience and you're looking to improve your dancing, private salsa lessons are the best way to learn. The private lesson setting allows each dancer individualized instruction, one-on-one with a trained instructor.

Private lessons are available for solo dancers, for couples and for groups of 4--all for the same price. Lessons are currently available for all levels of dancers, 7 days a week.

Rates per hour(lesson) are the lowest in the city: $40 per hour.

Please respond with the following information: 

A) Please say a little bit about your dancing experience. Do you consider yourself a beginner? Are you familiar with the basics? Do you have experience but you're looking to improve your dancing or to fix flaws? 

B) State your availability; Day and time of day you are available to take a lesson.

C) State the number of people that will be joining you. (If you are a solo male, a dance partner can be assigned to you for no extra cost. If you are a solo female, no partner is necessary.)

5.) OUR Last Event Ever is Around the Corner!!!

MIT Salsa Club's Farewell Event! Saturday, August 15th!

Join MIT Salsa Club for its last event ever!  Sure to be a full house and a great night of dancing, join hundreds of dancers for the finale of one of Greater Boston's largest salsa dancing schools.
 
The evening begins with 3 different salsa lessons taught by 3 different instructors representing the area's local dance companies.
Performances by local dance companies. Guest DJs.  Social dancing from 9:30pm to 1am!

dance partners, being invited to our events, etc.  

Even if you don't want to create a profile with a picture
or tell the world anything about yourself, create an
