Monday's Beginner Lesson Information: 
Beginners are welcome; no experience or partner necessary.
The first half hour of the lesson (7-7:30) introduces new dancers to
salsa. In this half hour, you will learn the basic steps, the basic right
turn and the cross-body lead. From 7:30-8:30 we will be teaching new
material. All students already familiar with the basics should arrive to
class at 7:30 to learn new material.

Tuesday's Advanced Beginner Lesson Information: 
7:00PM - 8:30PM (followed by social dancing).  Advanced beginner 
dancers should feel very comfortable with the basics of salsa 
dancing, such as timing, the cross-body lead and inside/outside 
turns.

2.) Mini Salsa Social at MIT this Saturday!  ONLY ROOM FOR 140!!!

We can only let 140 people in the room at a time. If you are not on the list, we cannot get you in.  You'll have to wait 10-15 minutes...or more.

Event Details:

Two fun salsa lessons taught at 8:30pm by MIT Salsa and Boston Rueda! Boston Rueda will be teaching an introduction to rueda dancing. MIT Salsa will be teaching advanced beginner salsa AND a special Circle Merengue dance.

Welcome to Mambos Salsa Club...on Wheels!

Introducing Greater Boston's one and ONLY Salsa Dancing Trolley rides to and from Mambos EVERY Friday night! Something truly different and fun in Greater Boston for Mambos salsa dancers!

The Trolley will pick you up in Cambridge and Boston and deliver you to the club in time for the salsa lessons...and you can DANCE the whole way there, seeing the city skyline at night as you cross the Charles River, dancing to salsa, merengue, bachata and reggaeton. All for only $5 (one-way). 

***This is an all-ages trollley service, BUT...if you are 21+, you are allowed to bring your own BOOZE. You'll probably only have time for one or two drinks before you get to the door. All alcoholic beverages must be consumed on the trolley before you enter Mambos.

Lessons this FRIDAY: 

FIRST FLOOR:
On the first floor, MIT Salsa will be teaching an intro to salsa AND merengue dancing this week.  These lessons are always fun for beginners and you'll learn enough in one hour to keep you dancing all night long! No partner or experience necessary.  **Please try to arrive early for the beginners lessons to guarantee yourself a good spot in the circle.  The lessons are filling up in the first half hour.   

SECOND FLOOR:
One of the best is back!  Mambos is pleased to have Noche Latina Dance Co. in the house this Friday night.  A very fun and informative lesson led by NLDC director Hedwige Louis.  He's one of the best in the area, and taking lessons with him is like learning from a buddy in your living room.  Down-to-earth and friendly, Hedwige and NLDC will be at Mambos this Friday to share some of his cool moves and styling!  

All lessons begin at 9:30pm.  Free with admission, no partner necessary.

5.) Private Lesson Information.

Private lessons are a fun and affordable way to learn salsa dancing  quickly. The private lesson setting allows each dancer the opportunity to address his or her own needs directly to a teacher. 

Private lessons are available for solo dancers, for couples and for groups up to 5--all for the same price. 

Currently taught at MIT!
Lessons are currently available Mondays thru Thursdays.  No Fridays.  Lessons are available on Saturdays and Sundays for higher rates.  
New Rates:
Weekdays: $40 per hour
Weekends: $60 per hour
