Two big Fridays in a row and one big Saturday! This Friday, BU Salsa will be celebrating their inception into collegiate dance school status. They're throwing a party with over 100 students to bring everyone out together. In addition, Boston College's Cuban American Student Association will be in the house! Going to be a great night with hundreds of new dancers, two DJs, and free cds at the door. And...join Chris as he takes his first-ever Rueda lesson on Mambos 2nd floor!
Next Friday: Mambos Valentines Event! Check your Facebook accounts for the event notification this week.
Saturday, February 21: Mambos hosts DRYVE's (Dominican Republic Youth Volunteer Efforts) Fundraiser. DRYVE is an organization committed to enriching, inspiring, and protecting the well being of underprivileged children worldwide.
Lessons This Week:
This Friday, Mambos is pleased to welcome BU's Salsa Community! We have a big night of dancing this Friday and expect a jammed house. BU Salsa will be teaching this week's beginner lesson on Mambo's first floor. You'll learn enough in this lesson to keep you moving all night long! And as an added bonus, BU Salsa will be teaching salsa AND merengue dancing this Friday. You'll learn two of the most popular Latin club dances; even more to keep you on the floor!
Mambos is pleased to have Boston Rueda in the house this Friday night! Jose and his fellow casineros will be teaching everyone Cuba's famous circle dance. We recommend having a little prior experience with basic salsa dancing, but no rueda experience is necessary. A very fun group and always a great lesson, join Jose and his crew as they introduce Mambos' lesson-takers to rueda this Friday! Want to see rueda dancing? Watch here.
All lessons begin at 9:30pm. Free with admission, no partner necessary.
