Lessons this SATURDAY: 
FIRST FLOOR: 

On the first floor, BU Salsa will be teaching an intro to salsa dancing this Saturday night.  These lessons are always fun for beginners and you'll learn enough in one hour to keep you dancing all night long!  No partner or experience necessary.  **Please try to arrive early for the beginners lessons to guarantee yourself a good spot in the circle.  The lessons are filling up in the first half hour. 
  
SECOND FLOOR:

Mambos is pleased to have MIT Casino Rueda in the house for their first lesson at Mambos!  Join them as they teach you Cuba's most famous circle dance.  This group recently performed at the Boston Salsa Congress, and they are also throwing a big salsa party soon.  (They'll be making an announcement about their party this Saturday at Mambos.) Some prior experience with basic salsa is necessary, no partner necessary.  

All lessons begin at 9:30pm.  Free with admission, no partner necessary.

3.) MIT Salsa Club has Won the Laya and Jerome B. Wiesner Art Award for 2009!

It's an award designated for outstanding achievement in and contributions to the arts at MIT. Established by the Council for the Arts at MIT in 1979, these awards honor the late President Emeritus Jerome Wiesner and Mrs. Wiesner for their commitment to the arts at MIT. 

The awards convocation for MIT Salsa will be held in May!

5.)  NEW Private Lesson Information!

Private lessons are finally available for solo men!  If you have emailed Chris in the past about taking private lessons but you didn't have a partner to learn with, you will now have one made a available to you.  

Lessons are now available during the week at various times.  Contact Chris with at least two days and times that you have available and he will fit you into his schedule!  His email is cgzebo at gmail.com. 

Private lessons are a fun and affordable way to learn salsa dancing  quickly. The private lesson setting allows each dancer the opportunity to address his or her own needs directly to a teacher. 

Private lessons are available for solo dancers, for couples and for groups up to 5--all for the same price. 

Currently taught at MIT!
Lessons are currently available Mondays thru Thursdays.  No Fridays.  Lessons are available on Saturdays and Sundays for higher rates.  
New Rates:
Weekdays: $40 per hour
Weekends: $60 per hour
