1.)  Tonight's Advanced Beginner Lesson ROOM CHANGE--LIMITED SPACE!

We hate to have to do this, but tonight's lesson has been moved to another location by MIT Student Activities.  So, we only have room for 50 students in the new room we were assigned.  If you would like to take tonight's advanced beginner lesson, please respond to this email the MOMENT you get it with your name and the number of people coming with you.

We will reply back with the lesson location IF you are one of the FIRST 50 to respond.  So....hurry!

Monday's Beginner Lesson Information:
Beginners are welcome; no experience or partner necessary.
The first half hour of the lesson (7-7:30) introduces new dancers to
salsa. In this half hour, you will learn the basic steps, the basic right
turn and the cross-body lead. From 7:30-8:30 we will be teaching new
material. All students already familiar with the basics should arrive to
class at 7:30 to learn new material.

WEDNESDAY'S Advanced Beginner Lesson Information: 
7:00PM - 8:30PM (followed by social dancing).  Advanced beginner 
dancers should feel very comfortable with the basics of salsa 
dancing, such as timing, the cross-body lead and inside/outside 
turns.

Introducing Mambos Salsa Saturdays! Same great venue and the same attention to music and dance lessons, only now on Saturday nights! Mambos is celebrating its grand opening Saturday night, with special admission prices and free music!

Member's admission for everyone for this special event. The first 30 people in the club will receive a DJ compilation album consisting of the best salsa, merengue, bachata and cha cha.

LESSONS this SATURDAY:

FIRST FLOOR: Beginner Salsa and Merengue!

On the first floor, MIT Salsa Club will be teaching an intro to salsa and merengue dancing on the first floor.  These lessons are always fun for beginners and you'll learn enough in one hour to keep you dancing all night long!  No partner or experience necessary.  **Please try to arrive early for the beginners lessons to guarantee yourself a good spot in the circle.  The lessons are filling up in the first half hour.

SECOND FLOOR:  Salsa Con Swing!

Special Advanced Beginner Lessons with Venu from Providence, Rhode Island. Venu was a performer in the hit musical Chicago. He is now choreographing dance routines that blend Indian, modern, Middle Eastern and Latin dances.  His most recent lesson at Mambos was the hugely popular Bollywood Salsa Lessons.  Venu is BACK this Saturday for Mambos Grand Opening Party! He will be teaching a new fusion lesson that will bring together elements of swing dancing and salsa.  His lessons are extremely fun and informative!

All lessons begin at 9:30pm.  Free with admission, no partner necessary.

5.)  NEW Private Lesson Information!

Private lessons are finally available for men without partners!  If you have emailed Chris in the past about taking private lessons but you didn't have a partner to learn with, you will now have one made a available to you.

Lessons are now available during the week at various times.  Contact Chris with at least two days and times that you have available and he will fit you into his schedule!  His email is cgzebo at gmail.com.

6.) Private Lesson Information.

Private lessons are a fun and affordable way to learn salsa dancing  quickly. The private lesson setting allows each dancer the opportunity to address his or her own needs directly to a teacher.

Private lessons are available for solo dancers, for couples and for groups up to 5--all for the same price.

Currently taught at MIT!
Lessons are currently available Mondays thru Thursdays.  No Fridays.  Lessons are available on Saturdays and Sundays for higher rates.
New Rates:
Weekdays: $40 per hour
Weekends: $60 per hour
