Our big Halloween party is this Friday! The evening begins with two special salsa lessons on both floors followed by a heavy night of social dancing with DJ Ricardo! We've been working hard to get ready for this--preparing treats, CDs and many other cool effects you will see throughout the evening.

Read below for details about this year's big party:

*3 Awards for the best 3 Costumes to be judged by all Mambos guests. All guests must be in the door by 11:30 to enter the contest. When the clock strikes 12, you will hear the bells toll. All guests should then begin heading to the first floor. The contest will begin. All three winners will be awarded gift certificates (one to Ole restaurant in Inman Square, and two Mambos gift certicates each worth $80).

*25 FREE CDs to the first 25 guests in the door. Mambos is releasing Volume 3 of its DJ Collaboration series. The new release is a collaborative project of 4 DJs, producing 12 of the best salsa, bachata, merengue and cha cha tracks. And...it's...hot!

*Make sure to say "Trick or Treat" at the door. The first 100 guests will be given a bag of goodies. 10 of those bags will have an extra treat for 10 lucky people. All treats valued together: $150!

*The Circle of the Living Dead Rueda Lesson. From 9:30-10:30, 8 Zombies Will Be Teaching a Special One-Hour Rueda Lesson on Mambos 2nd Floor! Get ready to learn some new moves and don't be scared to enter the circle: they're there to teach you, not eat you.

*MIT Salsa will be teaching a fun intro to salsa and boochata on Mambos first floor. Lesson is from 9:30-10:30. All beginners welcome, no experience or partner necessary.

All admission prices will remain the same for this special event. Our treat to you for dancing at Mambos! (New guests to Mambos, make sure to ask for a Mambos Card at the door.)
