*******NEW ROOM FOR TUESDAY'S LESSON FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.

Monday's Beginner Lesson Information: 
Beginners are welcome; no experience or partner necessary.
The first half hour of the lesson (7-7:30) introduces new dancers to
salsa. In this half hour, you will learn the basic steps, the basic right
turn and the cross-body lead. From 7:30-8:30 we will be teaching new
material. All students already familiar with the basics should arrive to
class at 7:30 to learn new material.

Tuesday's Advanced Beginner Lesson Information:
7:00PM - 8:30PM (followed by social dancing).  Advanced beginner 
dancers should feel very comfortable with the basics of salsa 
dancing, such as timing, the cross-body lead and inside/outside 
turns. 
LESSON LOCATION: Lobby 13, Building 13--Very hard to find, if you haven'e been there before.  Please allow yourselves more time to find the lesson location.

2. Bachalsa Lessons @ Mambos this Friday!

MIT Salsa will be teaching an intro to salsa AND merengue dancing this week.  If you've ever wanted to learn to dance merengue, this is a great intro-level lesson.  You'll learn how to hear the beat and you'll learn some sweet merengue moves to spice up your dancing. MIT Salsa will also be teaching the basics of salsa dancing.  No experience necessary for either lesson.

Lesson is FREE with admission. 1st floor, 9:30 to 10:30.  

SPECIAL lesson with Carlos of Rumba y Timbal Dance Co.  He will be giving Mambos' first ever "bachalsa" lesson on Mambos 2nd floor, 9:30 - 10:30.  "Bachalsa," you ask? 3.) Haunted House Salsa Party!

This Halloween, Mambos is inviting the dead and the living to attend its Haunted House Party. The evening begins with two special salsa lessons on both floors followed by a haunted night of social dancing with DJ Ricardo. Read below for details:

*3 Awards for the best 3 Costumes to be judged by all Mambos guests. All guests must be in the door by 11:30 to enter the contest. When the clock strikes 12, you will hear the bells toll. The contest will begin. All three winners will be given gift certificates to Ole restaurant in Inman Square. 

*25 FREE CDs to the first 25 guests in the door. Mambos is releasing Volume 3 of its DJ Collaboration series. The new release is a collaborative project of 4 DJs. 12 of the best salsa, bachata, merengue and cha cha tracks. 

*The Circle of the Living Dead Rueda Lesson. From 9:30-10:30, 8 Zombies Will Be Teaching a Special One-Hour Rueda Lesson on Mambos 2nd Floor!

*MIT Salsa will be teaching an intro to salsa and boochata on Mambos first floor. Lesson is from 9:30-10:30. All beginners welcome, no experience necessary.

*Make sure to say "Trick or Treat" at the door. The first 100 guests will be given a bag of goodies. 5 of those bags will have an extra treat in them for 5 lucky people.

All admission prices will remain the same for this special event. New guests to Mambos, make sure to ask for a Mambos Card at the door.

5.) Private Lesson Information.

Private lessons are a fun and affordable way to learn salsa dancing  quickly. The private lesson setting allows each dancer the opportunity to address his or her own needs directly to a teacher. 

Private lessons are available for solo dancers, for couples and for groups up to 5--all for the same price. 

Currently taught at MIT!
Lessons are currently available Mondays thru Thursdays.  No Fridays.  Lessons are available on Saturdays and Sundays for higher rates.  
New Rates:
Weekdays: $40 per hour
Weekends: $60 per hour
