2. Mambos Update...
What a party last Friday!!! Holy cow. We have more new
surprises this Friday...
Here are a list of new things for this week:
A.) This will be the FINAL WEEK for guests to become
Mambos Members without paying the $5 membership fee. We
were trying to go an entire month without charging the fee,
but that will not be possible now. Please tell your
friends that after this Friday, all new guests will have to
pay a $5 membership fee plus the $10 admission fee. (They
will only need to pay the $5 fee once.)
For the 300 people that came out this past Friday, you are
members! You will be given your Mambos Card on June 20th
when you come to the door. For the time being, you will
need to show some form of identification at the door,
anything that has your name on it. All of your names are
on the list.
For new guests that are visting this week, please download
the membership form here and bring it with you filled out:
http://www.mambosentertainment.com/Misc/Mambos%20Member%20Form.pdf.
You will also be given your membership cards on June 20th.
B.) If you liked the media display upstairs, we'll have new
media running throughout the entire house this Friday. New
videos every week.
C.) If you or a friend are coming to the beginners lesson
this week, please arrive early and join the circle. The
lesson was full by 9:40 last Friday. We will try to
accomodate as many people as we can.
Lessons from 9:30 - 10:30
D.) We've booked some reallllly good dance instructors for
the advanced beginner lessons that begin in June. We've
got local instructors and instructors from out of town.

E.) So...we made two goofs last Friday. First, we forgot
to turn on the AC downstairs. It will be on from now on ;)
Second, we...forgot to take pictures. Photos will be taken
from now on and posted on the Mambos website.
F.) $10,000 worth of brand new, beautiful Brazilian
hardwood is being installed upstairs in the next two weeks.
You'll have more room to dance and an excellent surface to
dance on.
And that's it for news this week! Email us at
info at mambosentertainment.com if you have any questions.
See you at Mambos!
3.) Advanced Beginner Lesson Review Tuesday, June 10th!
Ever wanted to go over that tricky move you learned at
MITSC but never had a chance to grab Chris or Meagan to ask
questions? Well, now's your chance.
On Tuesday, June 10, Chris and Meagan will be teaching a
review lesson in Morss Hall. But...they don't know what
they'll be teaching yet. That's up to you to decide.
Here's what you do:
First, go to the Cool Moves Laboratory and watch the
videos. Here is a quick link:
http://web.mit.edu/salsaclub/www/CoolMovesLab/coolmoveslab.shtml.
Second, choose two moves from the spring term that you
would like to review on Tuesday the 10th.
Third, reply to the discussion board topic on our Facebook
group titled "Advanced Beginner Review Voting Box."
Tell us the dates of the two moves you like best and we'll
review the two moves that are voted for the most!

6.) Where do We Take Salsa Lessons While MIT Salsa is On
Vacation???
Many people have been asking where to take salsa lessons
once the term is over. We recommend taking lessons with
Rumba y Timbal Dance Company. Here are their lesson
offerings and schedules:

Private lessons are available for solo dancers, for couples
