      -*-* MIT Salsa Club's Weekly Update *-*-

1.) MIT Salsa Club's Summer Workshop Series!

The MITSC Summer Workshop Series begins Monday, June 16th!
For one month, MIT Salsa will be teaching fun workshops
that cover all of the other popular Latin club dances. For
dancers of all levels. Look below at our schedule and
invite your friends!

Monday, June 16th: The MIT Merengue Challenge
This lesson will begin with an intro to Merengue followed
by a merengue combination that begins easy and gets tougher
and tougher as time progesses. A really fun lesson for all
levels of dancers.

Monday, June 23: Intro to Bachata
This sexy dance from the Dominican Republic gets a new
twist with a little MIT engineering! Learn the basics to
this intimate club dance and also learn a new move, MITSC
style! Learn how to properly pop the hip (not the LEG!) and
to dance gracefully across the floor. For all levels of
dancers.

Monday, June 30: Intro to Club Style Cha Cha
Learn the basics of club style cha cha, then learn how to
lead and follow a cool move. You will learn how to dance
on 1 AND on 2. Don't know what that means? You will after
this lesson. For all levels of dancers.

Monday, July 7: Salsa Technique!
This is the intense summer lesson for anyone that wants to
get rid of bad habits. You'll learn how to turn properly,
step correctly and lead and follow precisely--even if you
"think" you're a pro already. For all levels of dancers.

*All Lessons taught from 7pm to 9:30pm in Morss Hall,
Walker Memorial Building. Click here for directions:
