(MIT Salsa Club) MIT Salsa Social and Weekly Lesson Update (No Beginner Lesson this Tuesday)

     -*-* MIT Salsa Club's Weekly Update *-*-

1.) Weekly Lesson Announcement.

Tons of changes this week! 

First order of business, this week's Beginner Lesson
(Tuesday) is cancelled due to lack of space.  The Beginner
Lesson will resume next Tuesday, in Morss Hall.

However, WE ARE TEACHING a fun Advanced Beginner's Lesson
this Monday (tomorrow), May 7.  Tomorrow's Advanced
Beginner Lesson is in Morss Hall at 7 PM. (Also, remember
that Monday's Intermediate Lessons are on hold until the
end of the lesson term (June 5).)
 
And next Monday, we're teaching an extra special Advanced
Beginner's Lesson, introducing dancers to dancing on 2!!! 
More details in next week's weekly announcement. 

Sorry about all the lesson changes.  This happens at least
once a term.

2.) MIT Salsa Club is still looking for a couple more
volunteers for this year's social.  

It's getting closer and closer!  Are you ready???  The 2nd
Annual MIT Salsa Social is Saturday, May 19 in the
Sala de Puerto Rico room of Stratton Student Center.

MIT Salsa Club is hosting an evening of dancing and
performances from local dance companies.  

We're going to need your support.  If you can volunteer at
this year's event, please email Chris at vegas76 at yahoo.com.
 
Like last year, all volunteers will only work between 30
minutes to an hour.  In other words, volunteering to help
out will be like taking a short break from the dance floor
to help the club.  You'll also get into the event for free!
