(MIT Salsa Club) Workshops Begin Monday and Tuesday's Class is ON!!!

  -*-* MIT Salsa Club's Weekly Update *-*-

1.) The Bad Habits Workshop is MONDAY!

Well, the results are in!  You voted and we listened. After
averaging the responses you made to our poll, tomorrow's
Bad Habits Workshop will be divided into 4 sections:

A.) Timing (finding the breakbeat, turning on time,   
    pronouncing each step with each beat)
B.) Partner Connection (forging "connections" between 
    our partners and the parts of the body that are  
    necessary for leading and following)
C.) Dancing in Line (including how to lead and follow 
    inside and outside turns in a line)
D.) Spotting (learning the essentials of spotting 
    technique)

The lesson begins at 7 PM in Morss Hall

Please dress lightly, since Morss Hall can be a little warm
in the summer.  Also, try to bring proper shoes, since this
workshop will drill a lot of technique (not stuff you'll
want to do in flip flops). 

2.)This week's Tuesday Beginner Lesson.

Tuesday's Beginner Lesson is in Morss Hall and class begins
at 7 PM.  We'll be learning another new move this week!

5.)  BIG NEWS!  MIT Salsa Clubbers get a discount to Larry
Harlow!  (July 21st at the Hyatt Hotel, Presidential
Ballroom.)

As if free lessons weren't enough, here we are offering 
a discount to one the best events of the summer.
