2.) The Bad Habits Workshop!

So far, we have some good, bad habits to fix at next week's
Bad Habits Workshop. It's very, very rare for lesson
venues to focus on exactly what you want to learn, so take
advantage of this opportunity to improve your dancing. If
you haven't contributed any feedback to the forum on
Facebook, please read further and post your habits before
next Monday:

For this summer's workshop series, we're doing something a
little different. Our first workshop on Monday, July 16
will focus soley on correcting bad salsa habits. In fact,
we're asking YOU to tell US your worst salsa habits.

Now here's what you do:

First, think of salsa dancing things you'd like to learn or
improve. These things could be anything from spinning,
spotting, leading and following technique, hook turns,
parter connection, timing, posture and balance--you get the
picture. (If these things are not taught and learned
properly, they become bad habits. So...we're going to nip
them in the bud before the salsa lesson season resumes in
full swing, September 10.)

Next, go to our Facebook page and click the discussion
titled, "Bad Habits." Tell us up to 10 things you'd like
to improve in your dancing before July 16 and we'll break
the 10 habits that appear the most on Facebook.

So...what are you waiting for??? Go to Facebook and purge
yourselves of those bad habits!!! The winning bad habits
will be announced Sunday, July 15.

3.) Save these dates!

*So far, workshops are scheduled for the following nights:

Bad Habits Workshop, Monday, July 16
Advanced Beginner Cha Cha, Wednesday, July 25
Introduction to Bachata, Monday, July 30
...and more to come!

*Regular fall salsa lessons begin September 10.

*AND...a rumor has been circulating about another salsa
party on Saturday, August 4! More info on this later...
