1.) All lessons are on this week!  

Tomorrow's (Monday) Advanced Beginner Lesson and
Intermediate Lesson is in Morss Hall at 7 PM.  

Tuesday's Beginner Lesson is also in Morss Hall this week
and it also begins at 7 PM.

2.) MIT Salsa Club Needs 10 Dancers.

The Salsa Club will be performing for a very big fundraiser
March 3 (a Saturday) and they need 10 dancers to come with
them to volunteer as social dancers.  

Basically, you'll be provided with transportation to and
from the event, admitted for free (tickets are $55.00!) and
left free to dance and eat tapas all night.  Also, one of
the areas best DJs, DJ Martinez, will be with us spinning
the best Latin mix.  If you would like to help out the
Salsa Club and a great charitable organization

3.) Great news for MIT Students!

In the past month, Chris consulted the head librarian at
the Lewis Music Library at MIT about getting students some
salsa music.  And...you now have salsa!  MIT students can
now borrow new salsa music holdings from the library.  In
fact, there should be at least 22 new CDs in the library,
so feel free to check them out!  (There are also some great
new books about Latin music history now available.) 

Also, MIT Salsa Club will be dancing and mingling for a
bookmobile event the Music Library is putting together in
March.  Stay tuned for more details!
