1.) Last lesson of the summer this Tuesday.
Our final Beginner's Lesson is this Tuesday at 7pm in Lobby
13. If you have never been to Lobby 13, we recommend
arriving to campus early since the space is difficult to
find. Here are directions to the building:

2.) All regular lessons will resume September 10.

Our new bi-weekly lesson, the Cool Moves Challenge, will be
held every other WEDNESDAY during the upcoming term (first

5.) Chris is now teaching MORE salsa!
As some of you may have heard, Chris was recently hired by
the MIT Ballroom Club to teach beginner-level salsa. But
don't worry: he is still director of the Salsa Club and he
is still teaching lessons when they resume in September.

Mechanics & Styling Lessons that begin tomorrow (Monday,
August 6, 2007)
Designed for ladies who have a good understanding of salsa
timing, basic steps & turns. Accentuate your Feminine
Attitude & attributes in your dancing.
* Move fluidly during the basic (think slink!)
* Add more visual presence to your dancing
* Add body waves
* Coordinate ladies' styling & body mechanics
This 4-week session will focus on upper body movement
specifically, ribcage. Subsequent sessions in the Fall,
will focus on lower body movement/spinning & arm & shoulder
movement.
When: 4 Mondays, 7:00- 8:00pm, 8/6 - 8/27
Where: Jose Mateo's Ballet Theatre, Studio 4
