[Reporting-announce] Reporting Announcements

Hello All,

I have three announcements regarding Cognos and Tableau.


  1.  We are hosting a training session for Cognos, tomorrow, Thursday August 16th. We will be in 4-159 from 1:30pm – 3:30pm. Space is still available:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/building-cognos-reports-advanced-tickets-48808418293
  2.  Cognos will be unavailable this Sunday, August 19th for maintenance starting at 7am. We’ll send a note out once Cognos is back up and available
  3.  Tableau Server will be upgraded to 2018.1 on Monday night, between 9:00pm and 11:00pm. During this time, tableau.mit.edu<http://tableau.mit.edu/> will be down for the upgrade. During this time, you will not have access to reports on Tableau server. New features of 2018.1 can be found here: https://www.tableau.com/support/releases/desktop/2018.1
