[Reporting-announce] IS&T's User Group & Third Thursday Training Series

IS&T’s BI Reporting team would like to announce ‘Third Thursday Training’.

As a break from our weekly drop-in User Group sessions, we will be hosting a training session once per month. The session will be held on the third Thursday of the month, at the same location and time as our User Group session.

For your reference, User Group is held:

The focus of these Third Thursday Training sessions is, to cover topics such as basic training for our reporting tools (Cognos and Tableau), tips and tricks to make your reports more efficient and useful, and user suggested topics.

To kick off our Third Thursday Training Series, we’ll be hosting a Data Viz workshop next Thursday, 4/20/2017.

Are you new to Tableau or heard about it and wondering how to build visualizations like charts, graphs and dashboards on your own?

Here’s your chance to explore the capabilities of Tableau. At this session, you would be given a sample data set where you will get some hands-on experience building your own visualizations using Tableau.

Questions? Don’t worry our Reporting Team members will be available to answer your questions and share tips during the session.



Prerequisite: laptop with Tableau installed
