[Reporting-announce] Tableau 10 and IAP Classes

Hello All,

We have two announcements to make.

Tableau 10 Upgrade
On December 27 between 8:00pm and 12:00am, tableau.mit.edu will be down for maintenance while the application is upgraded to version 10.0. You can find out what’s new in Tableau 10 at http://www.tableau.com/new-features/10.0.

To take full advantage of the new features in Tableau Server 10, you can upgrade your Tableau Desktop version by downloading the new software from http://www.tableau.com/support/esdalt.

Reporting IAP Classes
IS&T will be hosting two IAP classes for IBM Cognos. The first will be a basics class consisting of navigating the tool, explaining the data source, reviewing the online folder structure, and building a basic report. The second class will cover advanced topics including report prompting, in report filtering, sorting and drill through functionality.
