[Purple-Blurb] Web page up, video and spring 2008 schedule to follow

We've purpled out all four of our intriguing digital writing links this 
semester: Robert Kendall, Vika Zafrin, Barbara Barry, and Andrew "Zarf" 
Plotkin. Thanks to these four for their presentations and for getting the 
Purple Blurb series off to a great start.

Thanks also to all of those who participated by attending and joining the 
discussion.

The spring 2008 schedule will be out as soon as possible. You can expect 
to find on it readings and presentations by Beth Coleman, Aya Karpinska, 
and Ben Miller.

There is now a Purple Blurb page where this information will appear along 
with further details, such as the dates, times, and room where we'll meet:

We will also have a link to video of Zarf's presentation on there, fairly 
soon. The video will get onto the Web, but it may take a while since this 
was the first time an event has been recorded and since a busy time right 
now, the end of the semester.

Finally, this list was set up for infrequent announcements and is meant to 
be low-traffic -- about one message a month. The next message should be an 
announcement of the schedule and the location of the video, and then, each 
event will be announced again on here a few days beforehand. If some of 
you would like to have a possibly higher-traffic list to continue the 
discussion we have "in real life," just let me know.
