[panda-users] QEMU record/replay patchset under review

I have mailed the PANDA developers about this but figured I would circulate to
a wider audience. There is a patchset being considered for inclusion in
upstream QEMU that implements record/replay [1]. You may be interested in
this patchset because the diffs provides a high level view of what implementing
record/replay actually entails. 

In the long term this patchset may make maintinance of the PANDA system easier
because one of the core components would be supported by upstream. However it
remains to be seen whether the patchset will be accepted and whether this
record/replay implementation has feature parity with the one implemented by
the PANDA developers.

There was a talk given on this patchset at KVM Forum 2014. There are slides [2]
