There is a facebook group -- Maureen you're in it ;) not sure if this
link will work but it's here:

if you search for openwetware in facebook, it should come up -- it has
62 members at the moment.
I agree with Steve about LinkedIn, we may as well get a group set up
so I submitted one of those too -- will send out a link when LinkedIN
approves it (takes a couple days, apparently).
I think we can think about what kind of "social networking" would be
useful to people on OWW. OpenSocial is just a technical protocol from
Google allowing for 'distributed' social networking -- the real
question is what would we want out of home-grown network? if we
figured that out, then we could decide the best technology for
implementing it.
