It would definitely apply if it was more distributed, if the data was 
able to be checked in and out (much like the ikiwiki example (actual 
implementation doesn't matter, ikiwiki is just a good search term)), 
and if then we could aggregate this data on OWW. 

There's certainly times when I want to export content of a wiki to my 
own personal wiki so that I can work on it for a while without 
distracting the typical users. And just to hoard it, too.
