Dear Colleagues,

Andy White, chair of the PRC, has asked for the mid-January progress report that was requested as part of their report, 12/12/2013, on the PRC meeting held 24/10/2014.

I propose to write a brief report this weekend. Using plots, etc. from the various meeting that illustrate the work that we have done since October; I will add some text explanation and produce a LaTeX document. I will try to circulate the document Sunday night so people can look at it before the Monday meeting. Then, during the Monday meeting, people can make comments and, assuming there are no major objections, I will send this to Andy later on Monday.

If there is any work from your group that you think should be included please send me the figures and explanations by Sunday evening. Sorry for the short notice.

We should not spend a lot of time producing this report. We should not stop the work we are doing or change the analyses we have underway to prepare anything special. This report will be a text document not a presentation. I will summarize our current situation as I understand things illustrated with a few figures.

In 12 weeks we have the next PRC meeting at DESY. Then we will make a more detailed presentation.

                                                    Cheers,
                                                            Douglas
