Dear Colleagues,

The following is a brief summary of the discussions during today's weekly collaboration meeting.

NIM paper

	- mostly finished, recent updates from Reinhard Beck are being implemented
	- updates to the 12 degree detectors, GEM and MWPC, are expected in a few days
	- target and wire chamber sections have been shortened
	- the paper should be a technical description only, a later paper can detail performance issues based on a more thorough analysis
	- goal is to have a clean, final version which can be discussed and approved for submission during the collaboration meeting in 17 days.

Talks for Orsay

	- Jan, Axel, Rebecca, and Nicola will give talks at the Orsay radiative corrections workshop next Monday and Tuesday
	- they should send a copy of their talk to me, Uwe, Jan, Michael, and Stan for review not later than this Thursday.

Luminosity

	- the luminosity will be an important topic at the PRC review in 24 days so it is imperative that we have a good result
	- Roberto reported on progress in the SYMB luminosity determination that brings it back in line with the expected ratio
	- Colton is at MIT this week and working on a parallel analysis of the SYMB as a cross-check
	- Jan Bernauer is in Mainz for most of this week and should sit with Roberto, Dmitry, and Jürgen to help sort out differences and plans for future work.
	- Özgür presented some results last Friday at the Lumi meeting that appear to have some problems. The radiative correction routines he used are still not tested. These need to be sorted out.
	- possibly Nicola could upload his radiative correction code
	- Denis is analysing the MWPC luminosity both in inclusive mode and using the Kalman track fitter to get protons in coincidence
	- Jan has uploaded tracks for the runs 7909-8009 which Denis could also use
	- the lumi group will concentrate on runs 7909-9500

                                                    Cheers,
                                                            Douglas
