Dear colleagues,

we planed the usage of the approaching service week as follows:

Monday (9/12) morning: Testing of TOFs and Target at 2 GeV.
Then the accelerator is switched off until Thursday around noon time.
Thursday (9/15) noon: Start 2 GeV running for checking detectors and maybe optimize machine until Friday noon, when it is switched back to synchrotron runs.

The time with switched off machine allows us to do repairs and maintains work on the wire chambers and TOFs, the installation of the flasher system, and to warm up the target to get rid of all the attached ice and gas.

This schedule allows for a continuous access time for the repairs and the time with beam should be sufficient for checking the detectors and getting some data on disk.

Please let us know if there are major concerns or disagreements.

Cheers,

Alexander
