[Olympus] Report on the PRC meeting

Dear OLYMPUS colleagues,
This is a short note to report on the PRC discussions.  On Thursday afterno=
on I
presented a status report in the open session.  My talk can be found at the=
 end
of this message.  This morning, Uwe, Doug, Michael, and myself had discussi=
ons
with the PRC in closed session.  The main points were as follows
-	The PRC congratulates the OLYMPUS collaboration on the substantial progre=
ss
and on largely securing the funding required for the experiment
-	OLYMPUS has addressed all the issues raised in the technical review of la=
st
September
-	The successful installation of the target system in the winter shutdown i=
s on
the critical path
-	The collaboration should put in place an online system which is ready at =
the
beginning of data taking
-	The collaboration should closely monitor the schedule and respond quickly=
 if
there are delays
-	At the next PRC meeting, the status of the OLYMPUS manpower should be
presented
I do not think that it could have gone much better.  Thanks to all who have
worked hard to bring us to this point. It is anticipated that the next meet=
ing
will be in the second half of June.  Doug will coordinate the scheduling.
