SYNOPSIS:
Zona, the beautiful daughter of the wealthy Hadzi Zamfir, is ready for
marriage but no suitor seems to be worthy enough in the eyes of her family;
her beaty and riches become her doom. A love story about two young people
in southern Serbia during the late 19th century told in vivid pictures
according to the drama of Stevan Sremac leaves none unmoved - a culmination
of Balkan film making.
