There will be a MITEI/Chemistry Seminar held this Wednesday, October 3 at 5:15pm in 66-110:

“Molecular approaches to solar energy conversion”

This seminar will explore several projects that look to understand how to capture solar photons to generate charges and use those charges to carry out energy-demanding reactions. Also discussed will be new approaches to increasing light harvesting efficiency in molecular solids and powering catalysts that drive energy-demanding chemical reactions.

Introduction by Professor Gabriela Schlau-Cohen, with light refreshments following the seminar.
