Hello IT Partners,

I'm writing to let everyone know that IS&T will be installing new SSL/TLS certificates on the wireless RADIUS servers this Friday, May 4, at 6 pm. The current certificates are expiring. In addition, our certificate provider has changed from Equifax to GeoTrust.

As a result of this change, users of the MIT SECURE and MIT SECURE N networks may be prompted to trust the new certificates. IS&T is working to update Knowledge Base articles and other documentation regarding the secure wireless networks to reflect these changes.

IS&T publishes the fingerprints of the legitimate certificates in the Knowledge Base. The fingerprints of the new certificates will be posted when the change is made. Users concerned that they are being presented with an illegitimate certificate can compare its fingerprint with those listed here:

Please contact the IS&T Help Desk at helpdesk at mit.edu with any questions.

Thank you for your support,
 - Ben
