Hello,

Google is hosting an Android Hackathon at their Cambridge Office on 2/11.

For those interested in developing applications for Android, please sign up. It's an excellent opportunity to learn about the platform and ask questions to members of the Android Team.

Cheers,

Andrew

> We'll have Android advocates in town with a few of the newest Android devices on hand for folks to play with and test their applications on.
>
> For the uninitiated, we'll also do some demos and lead a codelab on some 2.1 features. And of course, it's a chance to ask questions to members of the Android team in person. Here's a sample/draft agenda.
>
> * 30mins : Welcome, about Android eco-system
> * 60mins : Play w/ test devices, test your app, try other people's apps.
> * 30mins : Android 2.1 Demo (Live Wallpaper, Sync Providers, Contact Badge), Nexus One features.
> * 60mins : Split into teams to create a Live Wallpaper.
> * 30mins : Live Wallpaper group demos
>
> If folks in the local community want to contribute content, like a local talk or local lightning demos of apps, we can certainly try to work that into the agenda. Otherwise, just bring a laptop, power, and cool ideas!
