I reached I my pocket and found my iPhone was frozen, screen dark. I hit the various combinations of buttons known to get it to wake up, and it did not want to. I feel that way sometimes, too.

After considerable finger dancing it did wake up, at that instant, I heard the shutter click and then the screen asked for my PIN. When it had booted, I went into Photos and found that the iPhone had grabbed a picture of my screen, with my wallpaper, and the icons for iPod use in the picture.

I do not usually use the iPod feature of this unit. I did not know that you could even DO a screen grab with it. Is this what we call an "undocumented feature"? This unit did three things at once: started iTunes/iPod, Camera and typed in my PIN. I did not know it would run more than one app!
