"The Copenhagen Accord has some good news; it provides for some real greenhouse cuts by some of the
major emitters, it establishes a transparent framework which was very important for evaluating a
country’s performance against their commitments; it initiates a massive flow of resources
to help the poor, vulnerable nations."

The Role of Information Technology in Improving Transit Systems
September 29, 2009
Wilson recounts how cosmopolitan transit systems now have the computer capacity to track their
buses or trains, collect fares automatically, count passengers, trace usage over time, and
communicate instantaneously between system headquarters and vehicles in motion. But they
haven’t typically applied the data or other new technology available to them in a methodical
way to improve service and operations and customer experience.
