"Civil War High Tech: Excavating the Hunley and Monitor"

In the last few years, archaeologists have recovered two of the Civil
War's most ingenious inventions: the Union ironclad warship Monitor
and the Confederate submarine Hunley. In this symposium panelists
discuss the newest technology projects that have brought these

There are now 122 videos on MIT World. View the entire video archive at

As this archive grows the need for search tools and better
organization of the video files grows as well. Major changes to the
web site are in the works. We expect to go live with the new web
site in June. In the meantime, we have reorganized the Site Index
and Video Archive into an alphabetical listing. We hope this helps.

MIT World is funded by the MIT Alumni Association
