The project is based on Spring Security 4.x. I have not personally tested it in Spring Security 2.x, but I doubt that it would work with such a large version jump backwards.

That said, the client code is much simpler than the server code, so you might want to try it and see.

We are using spring security version 2.0.4 in our web application. Currently we are using siteminder and pre-auth filter for authentication. We want to integrate  OpenID connect authentication in this flow.

Could you please let us know if Mitreid-connect provides  oidc client to integrate into our spring security 2.0.4. Currently we can’t upgrade our spring version as  we need to support existing flow and due to other dependencies
