[mitgis] new computers in the MIT GIS Lab - changes in hours

New computers will be installed in the GIS lab during the morning of Friday, September 4th.
-The GIS lab will be closed during this time period and some computers may be unavailable throughout the day.
-Files saved on the computers prior to Friday, September 4th will be deleted during the installation.
-ArcGIS will be available on the computers immediately after they are installed, however the GIS team will continue to install additional software (QGIS, Geolytics, etc.) next week.

-Summer GIS  help hours will end on Wednesday, September 2nd and fall hours will begin on Wednesday, September 9th. Fall help hours are Monday- Thursday 1pm-5pm and Friday 2pm-4pm.

Upcoming GIS Lab Schedule:

Wednesday, September 2nd:
-11am-12pm: GIS Lab closed for orientation
-2pm-3pm: GIS help hours

Thursday, September 3rd:
-3pm-4pm: GIS Lab closed for orientation
-no GIS help hours

Friday, September 4th:
-9am-12pm: GIS Lab closed for new computer installation*
-no GIS help hours
*some computers may be unavailable throughout the day on Friday

Monday, September 7th:
-Rotch Library closed

Tuesday, September 8th:
-no GIS help hours

Wednesday, September 9th:
-1pm-5pm: Fall GIS help hours begin
