MIT GIS Summer Help Hours:
-June 1st-September 4th: Mon-Fri, 2pm-3pm
-Stop by the GIS Lab in Rotch Library (7-238) anytime during open help hours. No appointment is necessary.
-There will be no help hours on Friday, July 3rd due to the MIT holiday. The Libraries will be closed.
-Email gishelp at mit.edu<mailto:gishelp at mit.edu> for help via email or to set up an appointment at another time.

Are you having trouble connecting to ArcGIS off-campus?
-Make sure you are using the VPN<http://ist.mit.edu/vpn>.
-Increase the license server timeouts by following the steps under the Licensing Error - 15 heading<http://kb.mit.edu/confluence/display/mitcontrib/Error+connecting+through+VPN+to+Arcgis+License+Server>.
-Borrow a license while you are off-campus<http://libguides.mit.edu/c.php?g=176295&p=1161400#s-lg-box-wrapper-4119359>. Licenses can be borrowed for up to 6 months without, allowing you to use ArcGIS without an internet connection.
