MIT: Make a Map in Minutes: Tuesday, April 28th, 12:30pm-2pm: REGISTER<http://libcal.mit.edu/event.php?id=940489>
Learn how to make a basic, digital map that you can include in publications, papers, or host on a website. We'll discuss a variety of tools for creating maps, such as CartoDB and ArcGIS Online, and then you will have a chance to use the tools on your own.

Durham, NH, UNH Cooperative Extension: GIS/GPS Boot Camp from June 1-5
This workshop will cover a wide range of GIS and GPS mapping technologies, and will involve planning and executing a GIS project. No prior GIS or GPS experience is required to take this class, but some experience would be helpful.
