ArcGIS Errors Using Background Processing
We have noticed background processing causes errors with a few tools in ArcGIS. If you are having problems running an analysis, try turning off background processing:

1.       Click on Geoprocessing in the top menu bar

2.       Click Geoprocessing options

3.       Uncheck "Enable" under Background Processing
