Hi,

We have a few updates this week:


1.       When you open ArcGIS you may see a message warning you that the license will expire soon. You can ignore this message. The new license will be placed on the license server when the old one expires. There will be no interruption in the usage of ArcGIS.



2.       We recently purchased access to LandScan population data.

You must be on the MIT Network in order to access this data. The data will soon be available for download in the MIT Geodata Repository as well.


3.       3TIER solar and wind data for Massachusetts and Florida is now available on DVD in the GIS Lab: http://library.mit.edu/item/002116971

The DVD can be used in Rotch Library. White papers with detailed information about the data are on the DVD.
