Interested in learning how to create maps and do geographic analysis? Come learn at the Fall GIS workshop series.

Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Friday, Sept. 23, 1-3:30 pm
Tuesday, Sept. 27, 4-5:30 pm
Note - this will be the same workshop offered at 2 different times.
We will introduce open source and proprietary GIS software options

Introduction to GIS for Architecture
Wednesday, Oct. 12, 12:30-2 pm

Discovering and Using US Census Data
Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1-3:30 pm
Come learn about what is in the US Census and some tools that are available through the MIT Libraries for finding and working with Census Data.

Exploring Spatial Patterns using ArcMap
Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1-3:30 pm
Basic geostatistical tools and graphs to visually examine distribution, relationships, variation, and trends.

Introduction to Spatial Statistics Tools and Analysis in ArcMap
Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1-3:30 pm
Basic spatial statistics concepts and present the analysis tools available in ArcMap.

Introduction to Regression Analysis in ArcMap
Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1-3:30 pm
Regression analysis concepts and regression analysis tool in ArcMap.
