Spiritual Cafe is a space for sharing thoughts from diverse
spiritualteachings, from which we all receive inspiration in our daily
lives. Every
week we select a theme and find writings, stories, poetry and music to
provide us with the opportunity to learn, be inspired and acknowledge the
common thread that binds us together.
*This week's theme is "Communication and Consultation- Everything from how
we connect through language, the impact of tone in everyday speech, how we
tell our stories and share and express with others, how we handle conflict
and difficult discussions, authentic and honest communication, etc..." *
When: 8-9pm every Sunday
Where: Gilbert Common Room in Currier House
*bring your favorite writings from any religion, philosopher, writer, poet,
scientist, musician, etc.
*a host of interfaith prayer books will be available
*feel free to bring any musical instrument as well
*snacks will be provided :-)
We look forward to seeing you!
An evening of calm for the body, mind and soul, a place where we can take a
few unhurried moments to sit still, reflect and ponder on the spiritual side
of life. The program consists of extracts from the worlds sacred writings
intertwined with music, discussion, and stories. We warmly invite you to
join us.
