Hello everybody!
I am holding an interfaith event in the MacGregor Seminar room at 2 pm
tomorrow, and you all are (most warmly) invited. It will consist of music
and reading and quiet reflection on quotations from many different religions
about a certain theme. Tomorrow's will be inner and outer peace. I want to
have this event because religion should unite, not divide, and I think that
one way to bring this about is for people to benefit from religions other
than their own. I have often found that reading from other religions'
writings helps me grow. So come and reflect on the wisdom of Krishna,
Buddha, Jesus, Moses, Muhammad, Baha'u'llah, and more.
I want to have an event like this regularly, so if you're interested in
coming, email me, and I can pick a time that works for everyone. Or just
come and don't tell me beforehand. Please tell anyone else who might be
interested (not just MacGregor residents). Also, if you have any ideas for
the program (cool quotations, music, etc.) or if you can sing or play an
instrument, please let me know!
Much love,
Jackie
