What's a Devotional?

A devotional is an open forum, where people share quotes that are meaningful
to them. Think of it as a poetry reading - but where the material also
includes quotes from the world's religions and inspirational leaders. It's a
session where it is equally appropriate to quote Ghandi as it is to quote
Einstein or the poet T.S. Eliot! In short, it's about whatever is moving to
you. This week theme is "The Search for the Creator" but feel free to bring
any quotes, or short musical pieces that are meaningful to you - even if
they are off topic. The point is not to be focused on a topic but to give us
a dose of spirituality after a long week!

You are encouraged and welcome to bring your own quotes you'd like to share.
But you don't have to bring anything because we'll be providing plenty of
quotes from the world's religions, poets, and thought leaders. During the
first 10 minutes we'll spread out numerous quotes on a table. Find those
that are meaningful to you - and if you feel so moved, share it with others
during the reading phase!
