[Mitai-announce] The Human Rights Crisis in Immigration Reform

MIT Amnesty International ​will be hosting immigration lawyer Gaye Ozpinar
and Harvard anthropology student Ekin Kurtic for a discussion on the human
rights violations occurring in immigration detention centers across the
country. They will share their experience working in an immigration
detention center in Artesia, New Mexic
​o, discuss the ethics of private detention centers, and touch on President
Obama's recent executive action. ​

The discussion will be located in 4-163 this Friday evening (12/5) at
5:30pm.
