[Mitai-announce] Protesting the Verdict on Bhopal: tomorrow, Harvard Sq, 7 PM,

Dear fellow members of Amnesty International,

The Bhopal verdict and sentence against 7 officials of Union Carbide India Ltd
<http://www.hindu.com/2010/06/08/stories/2010060858160100.htm> has been a
travesty of justice and a mockery of the sufferings of the thousands dead and
injured. People and groups across the world are articulating their frustrations
at the compromised system of justice as well as the unfathomable corruption at
the highest rungs of Government and Corporations.

In response to this blatant injustice, members of the Boston Coalition for
Justice in Bhopal will be holding a public demonstration in the Pit at Harvard
Square (behind the T station) on June 24th, starting at 7 PM. We would love to
have you join us and show your solidarity with the plight of Bhopal survivors!
